This episode explores Parental Coordination in South Africa. It locates this Alternative Dispute Mechanism within the Children’s Act, that can form part a divorce order. The definition of Parental Coordination is explored, as well as why it was necessary to add this mechanism to post-divorce processes. Important legal precedents that underpin the current guidelines are discussed.  Furthermore the legal steps to access a Parental Coordinator are explained, as well as the parameters and limits of this position.
