In this episode we speak with Prof. Colin Tredoux about memory theory and how this applies to eye witness testimony protocols (eg. line-ups/identi-kits). We also discuss how various identification processes take place in the South African context, and what research indicates regarding the accuracy and reliability of the information that is collected through these processes. We also discuss current advancements in the field based on research.
